How do I tell my husband?

I've been interested in bdsm since I was 16. Im 26 now but I've never told anyone that I want to try it. I've been married for almost 3 years now and the urge to give it a try is getting stronger and stronger. I just don't know how to tell my husband. I dont think he would be against it but I also don't know if he would be for it. I have some time to think about it because he's currently deployed. Anyone have any advice?
