Bronchitis, elevated blood pressure, and prednisone ...

So I don’t quite have high blood pressure. But when I get sick, it gets a bit elevated sometimes. Well yesterday I was in the ER because I couldn’t breathe, and have been coughing severely since Wednesday... (been to urgent care twice, which they gave me nothing but antihistamines... 🙄) I’ve had 3 covid tests, all of which came back negative. Well the ER said I have bronchitis. Likely from a sinus infection that didn’t get treated quick enough. (Which is exactly what I went to urgent care telling them...) anyway they gave me prednisone, augmentin, and Mucinex. And lemme tell y’all this... my head started hurting really bad, my body felt shaky and unsteady, I was getting a bit dizzy and nauseous and lightheaded... so I checked my blood pressure, and this was it.

I don’t fully trust the electric monitors but I don’t exactly know how to check my own blood pressure with a manual... 🤣 (I can check everyone else’s tho...) I guess I could teach my husband how to read a blood pressure... 🤔 but would a blood pressure like this cause ringing in the ears?! I know it can make ya feel awfully crummy, but I’ve NEVER had ringing in my ears this bad before. Like it’s been pretty constant all day! Especially the left ear. 😳 like it HURTS! And every single noise in this house is killing me. I don’t wanna go BACK to the doctor. But damn! 🙄
