If you like to travel what is your job?

I love to travel and explore. I want a career that will allow me to do that. What do you do so you can travel?

My cousin started her own photography business. She started with the usual - families, newborns, graduates, weddings, etc. Now she’s built it up so she has a very specific clientele - adventure wedding photography. She travels around the world joining couples on destination weddings to more remote areas. Not like island resort type but like Iceland and Alaska where it’s gorgeous but more rugged. It’s often just the couple, her, and her boyfriend who helps with the photography.

My husband is an OTR truck driver so are plenty of people we know and though it doesn't sound that great, if you manage your time right it is actually a dream career and a lot of companies help you get your CDL and you can buy your own truck (owner operator) and boom you're your own boss making money and traveling. I know a few people who work different hospital jobs and it's hard and demanding but you can travel. Flight attendants, I know a women who has been a flight attendant for 40 years and the way she describes it sounds heavenly. Different careers in the biology/micro biology field which is what I was planning on going to school for at some point. There are so many options really. I hope you find what you're looking for!

I used to get to travel for work more. I was an environmental journalist. I traveled regularly to cover international climate negotiations.
I switched to advocacy 3 years ago and don’t travel as often anymore.

I'm in the process of becoming a lab tech/medical technologist with the goal of being a travelling tech in the next couple years :) I know it's not an "outdoorsy" travel job but I'm still excited to be able to work in different places

I work im higher education and get 3 weeks paid vacation per year but I've managed to bank days and and I have an additional 25 days of vacation on top of my 3 weeks. I can also get opportunities to travel with work to conferences (pre-covid) and have been to the US many times for work, and across Canada for conferences too. (I live in Canada) 
Husband works for an airline and we get flight benefits so we can travel anywhere that this airline flies for pennies. And super cheap with affiliate airlines (pre-covid).

I’m a paramedic working 24/48 hour schedule. I can take off three shifts and have nearly two weeks off work. However, the pay limits the traveling fund.
