Has anyone had a period and been pregnant?

So, my wife and I tried fertilization in April. In May, I had a period that lasted 15 days. We didn't try in May because I'm just so tired of getting negatives and I needed a break, but this month, I'm almost a whole week late on my period. I've had symptoms like I'm going to start, but I haven't. I've also been really bloated and EXHAUSTED. Has this happened to anyone and you ended up being pregnant? With my other pregnancies, I got really sick around week 9 of pregnancy and I haven't done that. I just dont know if I should test or what?
