I’m in the process of looking for a doula but not sure which week to start seeing them ?

I’m currently 21 weeks and started my interview process last week. Each doula is different but I will say to lock one down before your third trimester bc each of them may have different timelines on things they may want to do with you weeks before your birth. For example, my doula for our 3rd baby had things for us to do starting at 28 weeks. Also, you don’t want to wait to the last minute to secure one and the one you want is booked for your expected delivery month or unavailable.

I started the interview process at week 20 and hired one by week 21. They book up fast! I got the last spot available with my top choice even though I did it so far in advance.
