What age did u potty train your daughter

Mine is 16 months and I’m just wondering at what age did u guys start potty training? And how did u start

Answer

I started mine at two. But I also followed her cues. Kids will almost tell you they are ready to start trying. Some examples:  taking their diaper off when it’s dirty, crying when it’s full, actually telling you they went potty. I will also say we tried potty training at 2 but it didn’t fully stick until she was 2.5. And night time training was closer to 3y/o. Every kiddo’s different. Good luck!

I started training my son around 25 months, but could have easily done it sooner if we hadn’t been in the middle of a laundry room remodel before then. I used the book “Oh Crap Potty training” and it had wonderful tips to help me do it quickly. They usually recommend doing it between 20-30 months, but you can do it sooner if you think she’s ready. We used the naked method for the first couple of days, then did pants with no underwear after that.
