I thought nothing was happening ..
Posting this here because I know as women we can be sooo hard on ourselves and if you’re on the fertility journey I know there are days when you can be soo mad at your body. Towards the end of 2020 I really started to focus on my physical health. I cut out processed foods, and fast food. In April 2021 I started going to the gym consistently 5-7 days a week. I wasn’t focused on getting results I just wanted to feel better and not so sluggish.
I put on this swimsuit today and looked in the mirror and thought “wait I do see a difference there”!
I am not where I want to be quite yet but this makes me excited to keep going !! My biggest focus is proving me to me each day ! I feel a lot better I have lost fat and replaced it with some muscle.
I think the biggest thing for me was I pretty much cut carbs out meaning breads, potatoes and pasta and replaced them with vegetables.
I also started eating for my blood type about a month ago. If you haven’t looked into that I would highly encourage you to do so.
If you’re thinking about starting a fitness journey this is your sign to do it !! Don’t focus on result just set some realistic parameters for yourself then increase them overtime. Meaning I don’t go to the gym and try to bench press 500lbs 🤣 lol I’m not there yet.
I started off slow and if my body was sore and exhausted I took a day off.
Also I did/do not compare myself to anyone else. I go to a gym where it seems like EVERYONE is fit ! And that can be disheartening. I just tell myself that the only difference between them and me is that they’ve just been in the gym longer than me that’s it.
This is my race to run and I’m in it to win it !!
