TTC after IUD

My fiancé and I are getting married in just 10 days!

With that being the case he brought up me getting my IUD removed and starting our journey in august. Of course I’m all about it.

However I’ve had my hormonal IUD for a little over a year now and I’ve gotten conflicting reports on how long after removal that I can actually start trying and subsequently fall pregnant.

Im just wondering what everyone’s experience was? If I got it taken out in July would I be able to fall pregnant in august?
