My son got in a hamper that had metal stick sticking out and scratched himself pretty deep on the back of his thigh it’s now healed but left 2 scars will these go away or could I apply something ?

I make a homemade salve that has, among other things, comfrey, calendula, cocoa butter and tamanu oil in it. That salve is magic got healing things up and significantly reduces scarring. I would look for an ointment with those ingredients, or I’m happy to share the recipe if you’re into diy.

My physical therapist told me oil works great after surgery. So I’m assuming it would work on his scar too
