Exclusive Breastfeeding newbie questions

Does this feeding routine sound normal and okay to you??

I feed when my newborn wakes.

Sometimes he takes a break halfway thru a boob.

In-between boobs I change diaper.

By the time I finish both sides it’s been almost 45 minutes.

Then it’s usually another diaper and swaddle him and he’s grumpy and often rooting again already.

So I’ve started feeding him a little snack from the boob just before he gets laid down.

Takes 1-1.5 hours at night 1.5-2 hours during the day between wake and back to sleep for him.
