Would they pick up my HCG levels on a blood test?

Hi guys! So I ovulate very irregularly and I’m sure that the predicted ovulation dates on this app are not always correct for me. Anyways, I had sex in the 7th and the 16th. Do you think my HCG levels would be somewhat raised at this point if I conceived on one of those days? My doctor ordered an HCG test (getting tested for something completely different but he added that in for some reason) I’m just not sure if it would even show up just yet if I was pregnant. My period is due in 7 days.

Not on the 16th.
Ovulation is about 14 days before your period so there’s a decent chance the 7th was around ovulation, which could possibly lead to pregnancy.
If you ovulated late and did happen to get pregnant on the 16th, it wouldn’t be positive until roughly 8-12days after ovulation (about 10 days). So you wouldn’t be positive until the 27th (at the earliest), if that’s the case.
I’m obviously not an expert, but that’s how I understand it.

no, not yet. you have to wait about 12 days after sex to test accurately for pregnancy as it takes between 6-12 days to implant.
