Nap Time Stuff
We've had our baby boy on a very consistent nap/sleep schedule...which includes waking him up for feedings probably much longer than parents typically do with their little ones. Long story short, he lost a significant amount of weight early on and had trouble gaining it back. As a result, he gets fed every 2-3 hours in order to get him caught up to where he needs to be. This has also meant that his naps are no longer than an hour and a half and he gets woken up to be fed. Now that we are finally approaching his target weight percentile (hallelujah!) the length of his naps doesn't have to be so strict. I'm curious what other parents do for nap time for older babies? Let them sleep as long as they want or still wake them up after a set amount of time? What's the longest stretch your baby has napped during the day? Our son is 5 months old, so knowing what other parents have done when their babies were around this age will be helpful for us as we figure out a new nap routine. Many thanks 🤗
