Legal help! Resources help

Hello, i know its long but please could use some advice.

so my marriage is a long story and i love my husband to death but i need some advice and where to look for resources as i am new at this. So i have been married 8 years and we have a 4 year old daughter. I recently left my husband and i am wondering how i can go about having him not be able to see my daughter until he is “well.” He suffers from a mental illness and is going through a relapse and refusing to change his medication or add a dose which is what his doctor is recommending. With out it he acts abnormal and just all around a different person. I don’t think he would ever physically hurt me or my daughter so i don’t want like a restraining order or anything. I just want something that will protect my daughter from seeing his hero acting like this. Plus i hope that if he can’t see her then he will be more willing to take his medication and try to get better.

Is there anyone who can give me some advice or where i should be going for advice about this situation. Unfortunately there is not a lot of help i can get my husband as he is unwilling and i cannot admit him to any hospital unless he is a threat to himself or some one else which he is not at the moment so if he refuses help and or medication theres nothing we can really do for him.
