More genetics results came in that confirmed a partial extra copy of the 17th chromosome that is associated with something call Charcot Marie tooth syndrome. It’s apparently something that causes deterioration of the muscles later in life and typically is inherited so it was recommended for hubz and i to be tested. Doctors don’t think it’ll really affect him though since they say he has pretty good muscle tone for a baby with Down syndrome. So we’re not too worried about it at all. But jeez. I didn’t even know this kind of syndrome existed! Anyways. Just missing my sweet boy 💙
