Anyone get told a boy and end up a girl?

I *think* the earlier you do blood tests (before 12 weeks) the less accurate the results are for either. 
I only have had the 20 week ultrasound appointment done for both pregnancies, both said girl and they came out girl. Don't know anyone who has had it wrong before, but I know it can happen. 
Which is why I never wanted to spend out of pocket money just to find out later it was wrong. The stress of hoping things are within return date, and buying all you need in a short amount of time.

Hasn't happened to me (yet). I have decent maternal instincts that guessed what I was having and each ultrasound at 19-20 weeks proved me right. I have 2 boys with a girl in between and pregnant again, and I'm thinking it's another girl (🤞). It'd be my dratted luck if it was another boy 😂

Not me but my friend with her first. They were so excited to be having a boy but at the next appointment they were told it's actually a girl.

My sister was told a girl and had a boy! Buying everything last minute was crazy 😫 but someone we knew was having a girl so we gave her most things from the baby shower

It's far more common to be told a girl, and get a boy. But it happens more often than you'd think. Ultrasounds are not 100%. Only blood test can give you an accurate result. We did SneakPeak gender blood test with both pregnancies,  and at both 20 week ultrasounds were told it was a girl by the techs. And BOTH pregnancies I've confirmed boys (through DNA). I am 20 weeks pregnant with #2, got bloods done to confirm boy, and just last week was told it was a girl during Ultrasound. I laughed. Cause I know the truth. But being told it's a boy and end up with a girl is common too because sometimes the cord can be confused as a penis. Good luck
