Majority of men cheat???

Question

I was having a discussion with my colleague who unreservedly stated that all men cheat. 
She went on to say she is lucky her husband is a good guy but in the society we live in, to give yourself peace we should assume all men cheat. She was saying it of genuine care for my mental health lol which I found interesting.
What do yall think 🤔 
Is this the mindset we should have?

I think this toxic mindset is why so many women are overly paranoid! You see posts like, “my boyfriend took his phone to the bathroom is he cheating on me?” Or “my boyfriend looked at the cashier at Walmart, is he going to cheat on me?”
Society and so many other women make it seem like all men cheat, when they definitely don’t!

I’m not gonna judge an entire group of people based on the actions of a few. I would hate to have that done to me. A relationship is nothing without trust. I trust my husband and know he wouldn’t cheat on me. This hyperparanoia about it makes me feel like it’s going to backfire and all you’re going to find is cheaters if that’s what you’re subconsciously looking for all the time. You hear about cheaters all the time on apps like these because women are looking for advice on what to do. If your husband’s not cheating, you don’t really need advice on his non-cheating 🤷🏼‍♀️

I don't think that majority of men cheat on their partners, of course some do....but it's certainly not the majority. I do think it's odd that she should make a statement like "just assume" to you....that's really strange.

Yeah don’t go into a relationship with this mindset. It will just cause issues when your SO and you’ll constantly be doing things like checking his phone and then he’ll think you don’t trust him when theirs no reason for that. You’ll see red flags if your boyfriend is cheating on you and that’s when you have the right to be suspicious/paranoid.

I've never been with a person who has ever cheated nor do any of my male friends cheat. I don't think it is the majority of men at all. I just think we hear about cheating a lot because wr hear about bad things more than good. People don't always come out to talk about their easy relationship with the respectful guy but you almost always hear about the dude cheating because people like to talk through their pain/anger. I personally know of way more women cheating then men. Cheating happens sadly but not all men and I don't think that's a good mindset. It is hurting a relationship before something even happens. Making you feel on guard and suspect when there is no reason.

Have I known people to cheat? Sure. But we are talking 1-2 people, not a majority. And their SO were a-holes before and we all knew it but they had blinders on and were settling
