I didn’t count but I definitely had to increase my calories significantly.  I was losing weight rapidly.  I was 146lbs when I went in to give birth, two months later I was 98lbs.  I was nursing full time and pumping and just not taking the time to make sure I was getting significant food in me.  I kept grabbing fruit and veg because it was fast and easy

I honestly just started thinking about this. I'm not gaining weight but I am eating all day if feels like and might make me choose foods differently.

I never did, but I probably should have. I was very underweight when I was breastfeeding my children and counting calories may have helped if I'd have presence of mind to try.
