Vaginal Yeast Infection ?

Okay so I think I have a Yeast Infection. Not sure if it is since I’ve never had one before.. but for the ones that are more experienced, when you get a Yeast Infection, do you get white spots inside your Vagina ? I have pictures of my vagina but not sure if it’s allowed... they also look horrible... I’m just hoping it’s that and nothing worse... tomorrow I’m going to go get checked. Is there anything I should ask my doctor or something I need to know before going ? How do they check to come up with the results ? Sorry I’m nervous and scared ! Thanks

Yeast infections are common and generally easy to treat.  They will do a pelvic exam.  They might be able to tell by just looking at it, or they might need to take a culture by using a cotton swab and sending it to a lab.  They will ask you about itching or any other symptoms.  If it's a yeast infection, they will probably prescribe you something like fluconazole (Diflucan) or some other kind of anti-fungal pill to clear it up.  They might prescribe you or recommend an OTC cream to use.  If they don't suggest it, I would recommend taking acidophilus (probiotics) regularly and drinking a lot of water.  You can ask about those if you want to.

I currently have one but I’m 29 weeks pregnant I’m using the cream it takes awhile to get clear up 🙄 which is annoying! My discharge is like a light Yellowish color 
They did a pelvic exam for any stds and stuff and came back negative so it’s just a yeast infection
