How did you get your baby to sleep through the night in their crib?

My 8 month old will fall asleep in his crib but 2-3 hours later wakes up screaming. I wait it out a few minutes but I have a hard time letting him cry like that so I go in and settle him. He gets to the drowsy stage and I put him back in the crib but every time his head hits the mattress, he starts screaming. This could go on all night so I end up bringing him to bed with me since we both get sleep. My husband wants the baby to sleep in his crib through the night. He doesn’t mind the cry it out method but I can not do it. Any suggestions??

You’re probably in the middle of a sleep regression. There’s only a few more after this. Hang in there. Comfort him as best you can and in a few weeks you could try sleep training with a limited check in method. Google it, it’s doable and usually works magic in 3 days. But not during a regression.

I bed shared from 2 months on when my son did the same thing. My ex forced me to try to sleep train at 1 point. It was awful & it didn't work. If I have another child I refuse to sleep train. They learn to sleep through the night when they're ready.

I used taking cara babies her IG account and blogs are very helpful and free. I also bought her newborn package and 3-4month transition and my baby has been sleeping the night since 10 weeks old without a night feeding. She also offers a program for 5 months and beyond.
