Almost Positive OPK?

Okay so I’m 10 months postpartum. I’m currently on cycle day 40 and it says my period is 5 days late. So I took a pregnancy test. It was negative. But I’ve been having a decent amount of discharge and cramping. So I went ahead and took an ovulation test just for the hell of it and it’s almost positive? Is it normal right before your period or could I actually be ovulating soon? 🤔 I’ve only ovulated, to my knowledge, one other time and that was the time we conceived our son.

Any input would be great lol.
