Speech therapy at home or school ????

Hi everyone so my son is only 18 months but is needing speech therapy so he can either go to head start child care from 8 am - 2 pm Monday through Friday and a speech therapist comes and helps him there or he can stay at home with me like he has since he has been born ( I am a SAHM ) and we go to speech therapy appointments a couple times a week. I am torn on whether to send him or keep him with me. We are so attached and connected but he is so behind and I feel as if I hold him back. The head start is like an actual school and I can’t just randomly take him out or not go one day because it is through the state. He is currently going through babies can’t wait so I will ask them what they suggest but I would love some advice or stories.
