When did your baby start sleeping through the night?

I have a 4 months old, still wakes up at least twice for a nappy change or a feed, just wondering when he will start sleeping through the night.

Every baby is different. Baby will sleep through the night when baby is ready some earlier than others. Waking up during the night is their way of preventing sids. There is also a 4 month sleep regression.

My son slept 7 hour stretches at 8 weeks. My niece did not sleep more than a couple hours at a time until she was 10 months, and would only sleep while being held by mom or dad. Which is to say, it really varies!! Definitely agree with skipping diaper changes unless it’s critically necessary, or you start to see issues with diaper rash.

My baby has been sleeping through the night since 9 weeks old without needing a feed…she is now almost 4 months old. I did the taking cara babies newborn class and her 3-4month transition for sleep regression and our nights are so good bc of it.

My LO is 4 months on July 5th and has only woken up once a night for a bottle since 12 weeks. I put her in Huggies Snug&Dry at night and we’ve never had any leaking issues. If baby is waking multiple times, instead of engaging and giving them a reason to be up, just rock and put back to sleep. At 4 months, babies still need assistance on getting back to sleep, sometimes they just wake up to wake up or are looking for reassurance. When my baby girl wakes for no reason I just put the paci back in her mouth and/or put my hand on her chest and she falls right back asleep.

Some babies will start sleeping through the night as early as 8 weeks. But some kids may take as long as years. 
My son slept through the night consistently at 17 months.
