How to decide on wedding colors?

I am struggling to choose wedding colors. I feel like anything can work and every color looks so good. It will be a summer wedding. But thats all I got so far. How did anyone else decide on their wedding colors?

I went soft and neutral. Vibrant Colors tend to be tacky years later. In MY opinion. I had soft pink, gold, off white and lots of greenery greenery. Rustic wood. Kept it simple and elegant.

July Wedding and we did like a Beauty and the Beast theme (husbands favorite movie). Lots of maroon and dark blue with hints of yellow.

My wedding was in fall, so I went with fall themed colors. We settled on sunflower yellow and navy blue. I knew I wanted yellow and at the venue I was able to see what they offered and I was able to pair up colors
