Selling clothes online - worth the effort?

Anyone have experience with reselling your clothes on poshmark or mercari? 
Also which do you prefer to buy from? I have only bought from poshmark and considering selling some of my items on there but not sure if it's really worth the effort...

I only sell things that are worth it.
I’m not going to sell just one tshirt.
I’d rather post nice coats, shoes, bags.
Something that would make me a decent profit.

Buffalo exchange or Plato’s closet are another option. You can sell locally. You might not make as much as you would listing items individually online but it is quicker.

One of my friends makes a lot of money from selling on poshmark and the realreal. She goes thrifting for designer stuff though she she is selling high end clothes and bags so makes more money per item. She made about 12000 last year doing it as her hobby. So could be worth it but maybe not if the items aren't worth a ton or you don't have a lot to sell. It is her hobby so she does it for fun but she does spend a fair amount of time in thrift stores finding designer and high end things to sell. She also knows fakes vs authentic which is a big thing for high end pieces.
