In the hospital at 26 weeks

So I was diagnosed with short cervix and has a Pessary placed about 2 weeks ago. I have had a lot of stress with work the last couple days and this morning was contracting. I thought I’d come to the hospital and be sent back home but now I’ve been admitted because the contractions have continued.

Baby looks healthy but still having contractions. They gave me a steroid shot and started antibiotics and magnesium. I’m 26 weeks today. My water hasn’t broken and they didn’t see that I’ve dilated through cervix enough to tell because of Pessary. But doctor said if I’d dilated a lot she’d be able to tell so I’d I have it’s not much. They don’t know how long I’ll have to be here.

I have 4 children and never have had a baby deliver this early or have to stay in NICU. I am trying to stay positive. If you pray please keep me on your prayers that my baby stays in there and labor stops. 🙏🏽🙏🏽.

I’m 42 and my youngest is 12.
