Child and nits?!

What is the best thing to do for a child with nits? I’ve been combing my daughters hair everyday and still having a huge nit problem! What’s the best home remedy or the best product in the uk to deal with them? She has loads of babies in her hair and eggs and I just can’t seem to get them out!

Do all the washing& combing like usual. But , stay with me, at night, cover her hair with mayonnaise & put a shower cap on & have her sleep in it & rinse in the morning. Sounds disgusting I know. My mom did this to me when I was little. The Mayo is supposed to smother everything. Plus it makes the hair very shiny & pretty.

Buy the cheapest conditioner you can find. Have two nit combs - the metal teeth and the plastic one. Get in the shower with her, put the conditioner in (it will stop the live nits from roaming around for a while). Take the hair in small sections like you would it you were getting foils done and comb each section once with the plastic then once with the metal comb. Do this at least twice over in the Same session. Repeat the treatment for two to three days. This has worked for me always. The metal comb gets the eggs out. 
Or if she’s amenable shave/cut her hair. I had a couple of friends who’s month shaved their hair when they were little to deal with nits.

You have to use nit shampoo and wash all the bedding/anything that may have touched her hair on hot. Seal anything in plastic for a week that cant be washed
