TW- possible animal abuse??? So I had gotten a kitten off of this Facebook group post and I had just realized after 4 days of having him that his paw looks messed up. Is this a burn mark or a deformity?

He could just have some type of infection and they didn't notice. One of my cats has an infectious disease that causes that

Looks like a fungus I’m not sure. Little one has to go see the vet sadly.

My cat had that happen, it comes from an untreated infection that causes the paw to rupture. He (she) needs to see a vet or the kitten can lose the whole paw 😞

Side note- his other paws aren’t like this and it doesn’t seem to be painful to him.

You should probably take him into the vet. Because of the fact is and have them just to see if there's anything else that could be hidden that he doesn't show.
