First time having issues down there

I went to the doctor yesterday because I notice my discharge was off (a thin white layer just covered my vagina). They tested me and told me all of the test came back negative. However, they still gave me medication for  chlamydia just incase.

Today I decided to check down there to see if anything has changed. Now, I notice that it was very clumpy almost like cottage cheese. I’ve never had an STD/STI so I have no idea if this is normal. I will continue to check on this throughout the week.

My concern is what happens if you take chlamydia medication and you don’t have it, will whatever is going on down there get better?

I also asked her if I should tell my partners about it and she told me it’s not necessary because I didn’t test positive.
