Depo shot and trying to conceive

Hello all! Last year around beginning of November I started the depo shot (not aware of all the side effects). When I found our about all the side effects and that I was pretty much having all of them I decided to stop. My last shot was in March. I finally got my first full normal cycle in August . (Period date and ovulation date is always on point). Since then my hubby and I have been actively TTC. My question is for all you previous depo shot users or if maybe you have known someone who has taken it. How long did or have you been trying to conceive? I wish I would have know all the side effects before starting and I know I should have been more vigilant on looking up that info before I started it but it is what it is.
