PVC in pregnancy?

25 weeks pregnant and my doctor is referring me to a cardiologist! He said I am having a lot of extra heart beats so he is a little concerned! Yesterday I had a heart palpitation that made my heart feel like it was only beating every 2 or 3 seconds. I have 3 other kids so its getting a bit scary especially since I'm not doing anything to "set it off" usually I'm just sitting down! Is anyone else in the same boat?

I have the same thing. I have a bigeminy pvc so I have an extra beat every other beat! I’ve had it every single pregnancy and my doctor just told me to watch for if I become symptomatic. It’s not terrible just means extra monitoring on your heart :)

I had this with my first pregnancy. The cardiologist wasn’t too concerned and it went away completely a couple weeks after I delivered.

My doctor is scheduling an echocardiogram and an ultrasound of my neck for next week because I have a heart murmur and have also been hearing my heartbeat in my ear almost constantly. I’ve been monitoring my heart rate on my fit bit and it is pretty elevated when doing normal activities so they wanted to get these tests done. :/ good luck!
