How Do I mail a letter?

This is so embarrassing to ask, but how do I mail a letter? I have really bad social anxiety but I would appreciate if someone would help me step by step. 
I have no stamps so I'm not sure how to even ask for those or how much they'd cost. 
I had no family to help me and Im to embarrassed to ask my friends. 
I'd appreciate someone's help... Thank you.

When you address the envelope, the person and address you are sending it to goes in the center. Your address or whatever return address there is goes in the top left corner. The stamp goes in the top right corner. If mailing from home, just put it in the mailbox and raise the flag. You can also take it to the post office and tell the person at the counter that you need a stamp. I'm not sure how much they cost either but they can give you one and mail it for you then.

I worked at a Ups store for a long time. You would be surprised. A lot of people don't know how to mail a letter.
You put your address in the top left corner of the envelope. You put the To adress in the middle of the envelope. If it weighs less than 1 oz you can put one stamp on it, unless it is a square shape then you need 2 stamps. 
When you go to get stamps, you can go to either a post office, a wells fargo, a vons store, a postal annex, or a UPS store. Just say "Hi I need some stamps." They will probably offer you a sheet of 20 stamps and it will cost about $8-15 depending where you go. Most retail stores like Ups have markups, I believe Wells Fargo ATM is at postal office price.

You can also order stamps from the USPS website, it might take a week to get to you but it's easier than going to a store and asking for stamps and also I agree with the other commenters, your address goes in the top left side and the person or company you are writing to put their address in the center of the envelope and the stamp goes in the top right hand corner, if it weight more than  1 oz I think you need 2 stamps, then put it in your mailbox with the flag up 📬 like that emoji or put it in a blue mailbox outside or inside a post office. When writing the letter write "Dear   " , with the person's name and sign it "sincerely," with your name, hope this helps, I also have some social anxiety it is ok and don't be afraid to ask questions, unfortunately there are some mean people out there but there are also nice people happy to help
