Weight and hsg

Hi ladies,

this is a very sensitive topic for me as I have been a bigger girl my whole life. My doctor told me not to focus on my weight as being a factor in why we can’t get pregnant. She said this has just always been me and there is nothing proven that weight can affect you getting pregnant. I’m starting to believe this isn’t true as it’s been over a year trying to get pregnant with baby #2. I do have a referral to see a specialist and get the hsg test done but I’m scared they are going to shame me for my weight and not do the test. What is everyone else’s experience?
