OBGYN experience

So I had my 13.5 week, first in office visits and was asked if I would mind if a student midwife came in. I’m a nurse and said I didn’t mind because that’s how we all learn. So the student midwife comes in begins her assessment questions. Then tells me she’s going to do my exam as well. So she warms the speculum and cannot get it in, pulls out uses a different one, this time heating it under scalding hot water burning my vag!! After pulling it out and going in for a third time I suggest she does and gets the midwife she’s working with but says she’s just having trouble viewing my cervix because it’s postponed posterior. She finally gets the speculum in place and scrapes for a Pap. Next up we try to hear for the heart beat. After 5 mins of her trying to find it she anxiously tells me she’s going to go get the mid wife or doctor. As I’m sitting there which seemed like a MFing eternity, I call my husband and just start crying. I just thought the worst when she left the room like that. The midwife comes in with the student and the baby is moving and we see the flicker with ultrasound. But all in all I was shaken after that experience. Then come to find out, she never sent my Pap smear to the lab so my burnt 😾 and pain from the speculums was for nothing. Not sure if I should stay with the practice, it’s at the hospital where I work so it’s convenient, I also requested to never have a student again.
