Car seat?

What car seat are you looking into ? Why? I’m looking into the doona but not sure yet anyone used one how was your experience?

I used the Doona with my first and my sister in law is currently using it with her 6 months old. We love it and completely recommend it. The bad about it is that you’ll need to buy another car seat and stroller

One vote for the uppababy system if you’re looking for more than the car seat - everything worked so easily together and was fantastic for us! Now we’ve got the second coming and the system/stroller accommodates both that car seat for our infant and a “rumble” seat for our now toddler

We personally used our infant carrier until my son could sit and it just became easier to let him sit in the cart or in the high chair to eat at restaurants. I couldn’t justify the money. I also think it would be hard on me to be alone with a single stroller and my toddler. We’re going to get the Graco snugride most likely and get the graco double stroller.

I was considering the Doona.  But I ended up with a Chicco.  I got it on Amazon prime day so it was a deal, and I had one with my last baby, so I just went with what I know.  But the Doona definitely was an option for me. 👍🏼

I used the doona on my first baby, and plan to use it again for this baby. My first is now 1, it lasted until he turned 12 months & then we moved to the Graco premier with the rebound bar. I absolutely loved the doona! If they had it for older babies, I’d get it again! Super easy to use, husband loved it, always convenient!

I used the UPPAbaby Mesa for the infant car seat and the Vista v2 coach and we absolutely loved it! For my second coming in December we are using the same seat and will get the adapter to turn the coach into a double!

My friend had a Doona and loved it! It’s super convenient. Her only complaint is that it didn’t have a basket on the bottom where she could stow her diaper bag or purse. I had a different infant seat, but got a little stroller accessory that the infant seat clicked into that did have a basket on the bottom. It was made only for the infant seat and folded up neatly. It was super light and I could get it out of the trunk and open it one-handed. It was soooo convenient to have something like this and not have to lug the infant seat around. I used it for everything, including grocery shopping.
