One leg is purple?

One of my newborns legs is purpleish? I just noticed as we were sitting here. Is this normal? He’s 4 days old

My kids always had this happen. From position of lying to too tight of diaper. Also shitty circulation from being a newborn.

My sons feet get purple when he’s cold even if they feel warm to me. Maybe that’s it?

This is nothing you did. My skin does this and I’m 25. It just skin.

When I was breastfeeding and recovering from a c-section, my sons legs or arms would get red depending on if I was holding him too tight a certain way. It's all good! Just be mindful about how long and tight baby is being held

This would happen when my baby was a newborn if we held him a certain way. His feet and legs would turn purplish. Like the others said, newborn circulation is not that great.

Could be from how you are holding him. This happened with us and as soon as we moved him, it was fine. Just a circulation issue.

Was (he/she) laying on it or were you holding on that side? This happed to me at the doctor her whole foot was almost blue we realized her circulation was cut off from the way I was holding her in the blanket went down right away
