One-Time Melatonin use?

We were traveling in a different time zone for a few weeks for my husband's work and since we got home, we've had a few evening events. Our schedule is totally out of wack! I'm struggling with adjusting our schedule back because I'm so exhausted.

I can't get my 1yo to sleep until 10-11pm, and my 4yo is often wide awake until midnight or later.

I know I should wake them up early, but waking up has literally become my biggest challenge, and I'm usually struggling to get out of bed when they wake up at 10am. Its literally painful everywhere to get out of bed, and I feel awful for the first few hours of the day.

This is not an appropriate schedule and I'm trying to fix it! 😭

My question: Can I give a half dose of melatonin to my 1 year old for just a few days to get us reset to a normal schedule? I swear Zarbee's nighttime used to say 1 year!!
