Contractions anyone?

Had an appointment with my midwife today and she said it was completely normal for this stage of pregnancy. 
Is anyone else experiencing contractions? Not painful, just uncomfortable because your tummy turns into a hard knot. It mainly only happens in the evenings when I’m ready to lay down for bed. Like right now 😖

I don’t know what contractions feel like because this is my first pregnancy but when I lay down my stomach and sides get a tight kinda pain feeling . I figured it’s round ligament pain I’ve also been having those “shock feeling” down there 👇.  I haven’t asked my ob about it yet. Just figured it’s normal

Those are Braxton Hicks contractions and yes they are very normal right now

I read it is more common to have Braxton Hicks contractions if you’ve been pregnant before. I get them sometimes after I orgasm lol.

I’ve had a couple Braxton Hicks. I got my first one when I was 15 weeks. Got one every week since then.
