Antihistamine protocol

I am going into my transfer week next week and I’m on an antihistamine protocol including lovenox, prednisone, Claritin and Pepcid. So many different protocols out there and I’m wondering what you were on and If it was successful. I am starting 40mg of prednisone for 6 days. Does this sound right? I’m used to a tapered dose for allergic reactions but this may be different. I also didn’t think 6 days was long enough. What protocol did your doctor put you on?
