Is this normal?

My baby puked while on her back and when I noticed I flipped her on her side..it came out of her nose as well as her mouth. I went to change her outfit and she was crying hysterically cause she scared herself. After she was finished I took this picture and this is what was there..it’s slowly fading away now so I don’t think it’s an allergic reaction but could this be from her crying hysterically?

Babys faces get red patches when they scream actually if that was an area that was stressed during birth. As for the throwing up and coming out of her nose that's normal too could be reflux. My youngest threw up out of her nose so frequently it gets a little bit easier to watch but it's definitely scary. Suction her nose out afterwards just to make sure any chunks of anything aren't stuck in there

my son gets red blotches on his face when he cries hysterically too. has done since birth and he’s 2 now. all 3 of my kids throw up from nose and mouth, i have been advised that my youngest (5 weeks) overfeeds and this causes the projectile vomiting and been advised to cut back his feed times (he’s EBF) as i have a super strong let down and he’s a piggy 😊

It could be from crying especially if she was really upset. I would just give it a little while longer and see if it continues fading.

She could have reflux. When our son was born he was throwing up out of his nose and mouth we had to constantly suction his nose and mouth. Eventually he was prrscribe something for it. We also had change his formula .

It she continues to throw up what was fed to her, and have rashes like this, she’s definitely allergic to whatever she ate.

Def monitor it and see if it happens again next time she cries like that- and if your still concerned bring it up with your doctor but all babies are different- to this day I get puffy purple circles around my eyes (looking like black eyes) when I’m sick or crying, when I was a baby the doctors would be freaked out but my mom seen it was just how my body reacted to sick or crying.
