Family troubles heartbroken

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for a few years. We finally had success after a MC 18 months ago. I found out I was pregnant a couple of weeks before my BIL’s IVF transfer. They only had two embryos to work with and neither one took to the surrogate. I told them I was pregnant as soon as I found out thinking that would be best - just rip off the bandaid before they did the IVF stuff. They got really upset and haven’t talked to us in about 4-5 months. Last night we scheduled a phone call to catch up - their initiating, but it’s clear they’re still grieving and hurt and the call ended in tears and anger on both ends of the phone. I can’t help but feel like this Rainbow Baby I prayed for is tearing the family apart and I’m heartbroken.
