Can you have baby registry without gender reveal?

Question

I’m planning not to have a baby registry because I’m not planning to have a gender reveal. Our family and friends are out of the stare as well and I’m not expecting anybody to buy anything for the baby. They can give gifts but I’m sure it will be hard without knowing what to get. 
But a friend of mine today asked if I have a baby registry. I have not answer yet as I did not create for one. 
What should I do?

It’s not at all difficult to do a registry if you don’t know the sex? Every baby needs somewhere to sleep, clothes to wear, diapers, wipes, possibly bottles if you’re pumping or formula feeding at any point, etc. None of these things need to be gendered. I certainly didn’t base my choice of bottles on whether they’re pink or blue.

We put gender neutral stuff on our registry to avoid telling people the sex of the baby before we wanted to. We also made our registry through Amazon to make it easy as all of our friends and family are also out of state.

My sister has 3 kids that were all surprise genders so she created very gender neutral registries. When I was pregnant with my son (before I knew he was a boy), I created my registry as well with very gender neutral things. I usually don’t register for clothes anyway, but things like strollers, car seats, crib, bouncers, swing, playmat, burp cloths, medical and grooming supplies, diapers, etc are totally non-dependent on the gender. I always create a registry on Amazon anyway because I like to have a visual organized list of things I need to buy.

We aren't finding out the gender and still made a registry because many family and friends asked. I added lots of non clothing baby items and gender neutral clothing. Honestly I spent so much time looking for gender neutral clothing and nobody bought any of it. They kept making excuses saying they wanted to wait until the baby is born so they could buy "cute clothes". We planned on buying everything ourselves anyways, but it was annoying waiting to see what people bought. This is just my experience though.. I didn't have this problem with my first two when we found out the gender.

Where dis you ladies do a baby registry? I heard BuyBuy Baby is a good one. But did not realized I have to have an appointment to create a Baby Registry in their store. 😵‍💫

With our first we didn’t list gender. We knew but didn’t tell anyone because we wanted gender neutral items specifically. 
You can make a registry for yourself because most places give you a completion discount. That’s what I’m doing for baby #2.

We did not reveal the gender- and had two baby registries. It’s totally doable. Most of the stuff baby really needs isn’t gender/sex-dependent anyway. And there are a lot of cute neutral outfits too. 
We were thrown two baby showers and nobody mentioned or complained about not knowing the gender. In fact, it was a question on one of the shower games.

If you don't want a registry you don't have to have one. But there are plenty of gender neutral items for clothing and blankets and stuff. You could make a registry for other baby related items like bottles of you plan to bottle feed or diapers and wipes and such
