My 4 weeks baby cries anytime she passes gas. Is this normal?

I have been breastfeeding and also doing formula since day one. 
She has diaper rash and I changed her formula last week from similac pro advance to advance similac and that’s when I noticed this could be coincidence. She also started fussing when she’s getting bottle feeding. Is this normal in new borns and what can I do to help.

Baby's have a hard time when they are bottle fed AND breastfed. The bottle nipple isn't the same as a human nipple so they can't figure out either. That's why many times it's suggested to do one and not the other. Your baby might be sucking in air with feedings which is painful for them. They could also be intolerant to lactose or something else in the formula. I would speak with their pediatrician about the painful gas and how it started after changing formulas, they may just suggest you switch back or they may run tests to determine the cause.
