Moses basket or Dock-A-Tot?

What do you recommend for a newborn for daytime naps/ instead their crib? 
(I'm aware that nest beds require vigilance 🙂)

If you’re going to be using it for naps probably the Moses basket. Like someone else said you inevitably won’t always be watching baby, and even just a few short moments away from baby with the dock a tot isn’t safe. 
That being said we did love our snuggle me organic (similar to the dock a tot, but cheaper!). However I never wanted to use it unless I was right there with baby. Also, I think another commenter mentioned how some babies can get used to sleeping in the dock a tot and have a hard time when you need to stop using it!

Dock a tot has been essential for me with my 3 year old and 11 month old! It’s been the absolute MUST have item for us!

Moses basket or bassinet bc there will inevitably be times you are not watching your child sleep. So many times I fell asleep while my newborn was napping or decided to take a shower. Plus it sets a good foundation for encouraging them to continue sleeping in their bassinet or crib & not requiring a dock a tot for sleep. I know a lot of parents use it and their baby starts to require it for sleep, which is really dangerous. :)

Love the Dock a tot, we use it constantly. I like it because it can go anywhere like on the couch or on our bed etc.
