Does this sound like autism ? 18 months old

I am extremely worried after just watching a video of a woman giving her warning signs of her baby having autism and I noticed that my daughter does almost all of them? 
- started saying words around 8-10 months old like dada , then she would say hi alll the time like hundreds of times a day, sit (telling the dogs to sit ) mama & then out of no where I have realized she doesn’t really say any of it any more. Randomly I will hear her say hi once or sometimes a random mama or dada every few days. 
But it’s mostly babbling sentences now. 
She flaps her arms a lot. She walks backwards a lot. 
Could this just be normal toddler behavior or is this not normal?

So. My experience with my daughter who is autistic and is now 10... well she will be in September 
So I noticed when she was 5 months old. Her eye contact stopped. She wouldn’t answer to her name or react to your facial expressions. She went from being a smiley chatty baby to seriously losing all the skill before your eyes. When she was about 10-11 months old she drew circles... always... in everything.  (she was very intelligent) she didn’t crawl until I think about ten months. I just remember her only saying “giggle giggle” (iggle piggle from in the night garden) I don’t remember arm flapping actually but I do know it is a common sign in young autistic children. It doesn’t mean my daughter didn’t do it I just don’t remember. 
She didn’t talk. She couldn’t express her emotion so I literally learned every single sound she made and every single cry. She became mute. She was very repetitive and had OCD... she would constantly line objects together... like getting all the DVD cases up or Match pens and pencils the same colours or the same styles... this was all under 18 months. She didn’t start talking until she was about three. She didn’t eat.m foods with textures. She was very hyper. Sensitive to certain sounds. Like squeaky sounds she would scrunch her face up weird.... I’m trying to think what else. I’m a little tired as it’s bed time here so I’m trying to make sense and remember everything but that’s all I can remember right now. The earlier you get it diagnosed the easier it is to help her. Don’t just accept one answer either go and get a few opinions. For some reason they don’t diagnose girls early. They make up many excuses. Dint accept someone telling your it’s just a delay because that’s what happened with my daughter when I knew when she was a baby she would have autism. My second daughter is okay and I have a four month older son who I am religiously keeping an eye on his mole stones if I notice something by 6 months I am going to make sure I go everywhere until I am satisfied with an answer

The commenter with the child who is 10 now but described her as a toddler is a very accurate description of early signs of autism. Think lack of speech and ocd like behaviors. Children can be diagnosed as early as 18 months but by 2 an accurate diagnosis can usually be made by a specialist. Early diagnosis and participation in speech therapy ect can really help with communication skills and other aspects. You can always bring it up to the pediatrician and keep an eye on it and seek appropriate referrals. Good luck mama, advocate for your baby!

No, that sounds like nerotypical behaviour. ASD typically is diagnosed in slightly older children because of this. Loads of young children flap because of excitement, they're still regulating their emotions and still practicing motor skills.

Have her hearing checked! We had a similar concerns, our son started talking, saying “mama and dada and all of a sudden stopped. Turns out my son started getting frequent ear infections which caused him to have 50% hearing loss. We got tubes put in and within 2 days he had added multiple new words.
It was life changing for him.

It’s normal toddler behavior. Typically, Autism isn’t diagnosed till 3-4 at the earliest. 
These “symptoms” will likely disappear as your baby gets older.

My 16 month old does all that and is completely neurotypical. Internet will have you diagnosing everything! Always take concerns to a doctor. They will tell you if you’re overthinking or not.
