What to pack in your hospital bag??

When I had my first, I went into early labor and didn't even have anything packed. So when I was in labor I was so unprepared I brought handfuls of thongs and a phone charger 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ yikes. 
If you have any recommendations for what you think I may need, and what you might think baby and daddy needs so that way we are the most prepared this time around. Thank you all in advance!!

Baby : mostly empty diaper bag so you can take all the stuff the hospital gives you for your baby which is diapers butt paste a blanket hat nose drain and even a paci! What you MUST bring for the baby is carseat and a going home outfit ( I would recommend something comfy for the baby )  
For you : either pads and comfy underwear or you can try the always disposable underwear which are super comfortable I've heard I'm trying those this time! Then going home outfit for you something loose and comfortable
Charger ,phone , and pjs or slippers if you choose but you don't really need it if you want to just wear their gown and socks . Also all your personal hygiene like you would pack to go stay at a hotel toothbrush tooth paste soap shampoo etc .
For dad : something to sleep with , some clean clothes , hygiene items phone and charger , snacks and cash for vending .

I don’t have anything packed yet ...I went to my ob on Thursday to try to get a day to come in September but he said when you are 39 weeks I can give you a date 😅 considering this is my 9th I’m like ok well I have usually quick labors so if I happen to go into labor I will have to be life flighted because I live an hour away from Vegas 😅 or drive 150 mph 😅😅😅 anyway...I have like 6 weeks left for that...and I’m probably gonna pack mine like a week prior

Things you don't think about:
One thing I like to have is chapstick (sometimes your lips get really dry during labor) and baby nail clippers. Two of my kids had really long nails that were super sharp when they were born.

I'd add a heating pad, your own pillow, and bedding for your support person. Don't forget the baby book and have it tabbed for the nurse to find quickly when doing the footprints. 
Take an extra baby outfit as the hospital does newborn photography. 
Have snacks for you and your support person. Maybe lollipops and sugar free candy if you're not allowed to eat..Some hospitals don't provide meals other than you, and cafés can be closed. Take magazines, movies, card games, and a relaxing playlist. TV have minimal channels. Many moms take their own bath towels due to scratchy ones there, but they've always been fine for me. 
I pack dark clothes for myself due to pee/blood if I get tired of wearing the hospital gown - not your favorite clothes, but comfy clothes, that would fit at about 6 months pregnant.
