5 days late with a BFN, is there still a chance I could be pregnant?

I keep seeing posts on here that just after like 8dpo girls are getting BFPs. I’m 5 days late and still getting BFNs. Could I still be pregnant? I really don’t think I’m late because of stress. I am thinking my ph balance may be off a little bit, could this delay my period? It’s never happened before so I don’t know why it would now but that is the only reason I can think of other than being pregnant that may be making me late. Is there anybody that didn’t get a BFP until a whole week after a missed period?
