I don’t know if this is controversial, as most people I know are very accepting of the LGBT community, but I do see the stray bigot every now and then. I strongly believe that if you are a person who would ostracize or condemn someone for being gay, that you should not have children. You cannot control what your child’s sexuality, or gender identity is, so if that is a problem for you: don’t have kids. Maybe get a hamster instead.

Edit: No where in this post did i say they shouldn’t be allowed to have children, i just think these types of people should think twice before procreating. Of course, I know if someone thinks its okay to condemn a person because of something they can’t change, that they are unlikely to give much more thought into the potential ramifications of having a child when they have bigoted views…. But a girl can dream
