dentist question

my dentist is way to expensive.. I was getting a bridge. I paid to get my teeth pulled and a $200 deposit for the bridge which all together was $500 they want me to go get an impression which is also $500 then the permanent bridge is $500.. I told them I could not pay that right now. i’m owed money for a root canal that I paid for but didn’t get done per dentist. I asked can I switch to a partial denture and they told me they were already in the process of making it. I was going to go to another dentist.. my question is would I be able to get my deposit back for the permanent bridge? or is that money long gone..
