Will this calorie deficit lower my metabolism?
I usually eat around 2,300-2,800 and that usually helps me maintain. I’m doing a deficit for sedentary lifestyle and this is what I’m suppose to reach. Once I start strength training again my cals can go back to 2,300. I’m worried this will slow my metabolism down too much. For 10 years I ate under 1,100 calories cause of an ED and have hypothyroid for the past 3 years on meds. And it’s been since summer of 2019 that I upped my cals and protein. I’m still hitting more protein that’s needed so I’m hoping that’ll keep my metabolism going
