Baby brain ventricles
I had an anatomy scan of my baby today and the doctor said her brain ventricles (areas of fluid) were not measuring properly (7cm) and said they should be between 10-12cm, but that it was likely the position she was in and asked me to come back in a month. However, I’m confused because I looked it up online and found they should be under 10cm and that 10 or more is a bad sign. So I’m confused and was wondering if anyone had any further insight on this topic. I’m assuming nothing is wrong (which the doctor did say it’s nothing to worry about right now) and the next scan will likely be better as she will be more developed and hopefully in a better position, but I also worry because this is my baby we are talking about.
